Be aware that your Sage CRM Cloud system is scheduled to be upgraded by mid-October 2013. This is free upgrade that will automatically be applied to existing systems on either September 28th or on October 14th.
This upgrade is a big deal for Sage and will give you lots more functionality. The general interface stays the same, but you’ll have additional options that you did not have before, including:
â€¢ Ability to create new entities (this is referred to as Sage CRM Builder). Note that these new entities will have better looking screens and a couple of new options when it comes to creating fields – namely ‘photo’ fields and ‘radio button’ fields
â€¢ Fusion Charts (cooler reports)
â€¢ Facebook integration
â€¢ New iPhone app that allows for offline access (and allows you to create communications that sync with CRM once you come back online)
â€¢ Inter-company chatting feature called ‘Yammer’ that will allow users to leave comments about your clients under the company folder
â€¢ Mapping Add-On

Be aware that this new version of CRM supports Outlook 2010 and 2013. Sage CRM will cease supporting Outlook 2007.
