IF you mean tablet access, the interface and experience on a tablet is very much like the desktop experience. IF you mean smartphone access, you have 3 mainstream options.
Smartphone Option 1: Without downloading any Apps, you always have the option of bringing up Sage CRM through a browser on your phone. Just enter the normal URL you use to bring up Sage CRM. Sage CRM is intelligent enough to recognize when users are accessing the system from their phones and the interface changes to better suit the small screen. Sage refers to this option as the Mobile Theme.
Smartphone Option 2: There are apps for iPhones and Android devices. These apps are free to download from the Sage CRM community portal and allow for offline access, as data is effectively synchronizing with your phone. *IMPORTANT NOTE – we (My CRM Manager) do not recommend clients use the iPhone or Andriod apps and are not in a position to support them.
Smartphone Option 3: MobileX is a popular third-party solution for companies where mobility is very important. Some of the key differences with this option include the ability for the user to view their pipeline and the ability to upload files or photos. MobileX can also be customized extensively whereas with options 1 & 2, there is flexibility to the configuration. This Option 3 is the one we use and generally recommend for clients requiring staff to use Sage CRM from their SmartPhones. Click to view the latest updates for MobileX.
