At the May 5th Sage CRM Summit Event (global), My CRM Manager knocked the sox off of the global Sage CRM community with a presentation on the s5Maps (Google Maps) a Sage 100 (Greytrix version) integrations to Sage CRM.
Poor user adoption is the silent killer of any CRM strategy. And unless using the system is somehow unavoidable, the silent killer will haunt your initiative.
You can easily sidestep adoption issues by simply not giving users a choice. I don’t mean ‘use the system or else!’ That approach never works well. Rather, what I mean is, when you are planning your system, have it do something specific that can’t be done elsewhere.
Example A: If department A needs to communicate information to department B – ensure department B only reacts to information submitted through the system. Problem solved.
Example B: If contacts (documents) need to be generated, ensure the system is the only place they can be created.
Once users get into this new forced habit of using the system for some functions, they invariable start to like it and begin using it for more functions. Sometimes you have to be creative, but it is worth it to eliminate adoption issues. There are some good examples on the Process Controls page of the My CRM Manager website.
Avoid conflict with staff and ensure your project will succeed by removing the option to not use the new system. – Dan
This week we began deploying the latest version of Greytrix’s GUMU™ Sage 100 CRM – aka ‘Ruby’ to clients.
This version of integration includes a new reporting engine which allows us to bring in more Sage 100 data in the form of graphics. The entire system has been updated with other cosmetic changes that make the system look better. Please do watch the 2-minute video below. All information about the GUMU™ Sage 100 CRM integration can be found on the Sage 100 page of the My CRM Manager website.
Use the ‘Schedule A Call Back’ feature to arrange for a personalized demonstration.
Note that Greytrix’s plan is to deploy similar updates to the entire family of GUMU™ integrations, including X3 and Intacct.
Have someone sitting on the fence with a Sage CRM decision?
We offer an evaluation package (aka Pilot Package) that can move those fence-sitters. The pilot package is a great way for organizations to seriously evaluate the benefits of Sage CRM before fully committing.
We are so confident that we can get the end using Sage 100 or 300 company to move forward with Sage CRM at the end of the 30-day (ish) evaluation, that we are offering a 100% money-back guarantee.
A full breakdown of the Pilot Package is found on this page of the My CRM Manager website.
Major enhancements have just come out for the Sage 50 integration. The integration now includes additional field statistics on the company summary screen including the total amount outstanding (summing invoices) as well as the total number of invoices outstanding.
Below is a short overview. The latest material for the Sage 50 integration can be found on the Sage 50 page of the My CRM Manager website.
Since I have been watching visitors on our website (Hotjar), I have noticed that many people visit our website via a Sage CRM vs Salesfore.com page that I had created 4 years ago.
Since it seemed so ugly and visited, I have gone back and brushed it up.
Keep in mind that I am not a Salesforce.com subject matter expert to any degree and I’m sure it is awesome. My points are based on the feedback I hear from clients that have used both, and SFDC service providers I know.
Our new pricing calculator is meant to make it easier for end-companies to understand the rough costs of implementing Sage CRM. While it only provides a rough estimate, it is pretty decent. And it helps emphasize that Sage CRM requires professional assistance to deploy correctly.
You can try out the calculator on this page of the My CRM Manager website.
One of our clients in agriculture pays attention to the crops grown on their customer’s farm.
We created a ‘Farms’ entity which pulls address information and then gave them a slick way of profiling individual farms in a way that made sense to them.
We are constantly trying to improve upon our web presence by generating more content, making the content easy to consume, etc.
Ian McFarlan (our web-marketing person) applied a web-analytics tool called Hotjar against our site – which is giving me incredible feedback on how people consume the information on our site.
This is a fantastic tool and I’d recommend it (and Ian) to anyone who is serious about constant improvement.
The Google Maps integration with Sage CRM has added a slew of new features over the past 60-days (highlighted in the video below).
